Default what to use to clean up ends of high pressure lines

Well got my injection pump pulled today now just to wait till the new one gets here friday but in the meantime i noticed some white crusty build up on the ends on some of the lines either at pump or injector side and a little on a connector tube inlet. What should i use to clean these up? Just some fine grit sand paper or?

Brake cleaner and a scotch brite pad, make sure nothing gets in the lines.
