Beware of the "53" model block, very prone to cracking on the passenger side of the block and leaking water, if it is cracked, it is usually noticeable by looking under the exhausmanifold, a new block is need if this is the case. i liked my quadzilla pulse with adrenaline on my old 99, cheap and decent power. hope this helps

53 block for sure, last time the front end was rebuilt, last time the transfer pump was changed, and condition of the injection pump. Was the trans a standard rebuild, or was it built up? From the factory, these transmissions are very weak.

That's what most do, then they complain about a failed injection pump. Upgrade the fuel system first. $500 at the start can save you $1000+ down the road.

I found out that its not a 53 block. Which is good news. And I'm selling my half ton dodge for 4000 next week. So I may put half in the bank and half torwards it. I've been told to buy an air dog 150 for about 500 dollars

Im in the same boat. Id do the LP like stated than gauges and chip. Me personally I think im going to go with the edge juice with attitude cs same price as regular gauges and chip but digital.
