Performance and Fuel Milage
So I'm a younger guy (almost 18). I have a 02 cummins 24 valve 5 speed. I was averaging around 18 mpg last time I checked. Currently I am working on doing some other things to my truck such as gauges, leveling kit, shocks etc. I would like to get a little more power out of my truck and a little more mpg if that is possible. What would you guys suggest? I have been told the AFE Pro Dry intake is a good start. If I end up getting an after market intake would also getting a new manifold benefit me? My last question is about the edge mileage max chip, what is your guy's opinion on it?
Thanks,
Rhett
One more question, I would like to get tow mirrors. I was looking at the manual mirrors on eBay. Is the quality good on them and do I need the bracket also.

Im new to the cummins motor but not diesel sport.oh and I just got a 99 dodge. If it were me id make my own intake or do a BHAF, and put that money saved towards a decent programmer.just my. 02

I would do injectors, anything under 100hp. this will increase your power, fuel milage and overall make your truck run better. I bought my tow mirrors on ebay and they are very good quality and you do have to buy the brackets.
Well guys, did my shocks today. During this I had to take off my factory air box and noticed it has 2 cracks that are allowing a lot of dust to get into the elbow before my turbo. So looks like I am going to do an intake instead of some other things. What would you suggest?
