Alright so i'm pretty well figured that my injectors at 185,000 miles are starting to let go, simple enough to buy new ones but i dont want to have to buy twice if i can help it because i want to end up with 125-150s but dont have the money at the moment with wifes medical bills and helping her family with money to be able to get a turbo.

I was thinking i could get my 125-150s and unhook the pump tap from my edge so all it runs is timing so i still can run the injectors with out toasting the turbo. Would this work or am i looking at having to just go small for now and upgrade later? Like i said I'd prefer to not have to buy twice and i have not found any places in my area that can rebuild my injectors and i need the truck every day for work and etc. I can't afford to have the truck down longer than 2 days.

 

U should be ok IF u turn the box on a low setting an watch ur egts real close

 

just don't hammer on it and you should be alright until you have the funds for a turbo

 

Thats what i figured for untapping the pump would help alot
