how do you know when the apps is going out i started a thread on my truck and still havent found my problem. bassicaly i all of a sudden lost a lot of power and my fuel mileage sucks, everyone suggested i remove my outdated programmer so i did and i still dont have my power back, not throwing any codes and good fuel pressure and good boost, starts fine just no *****. ive been stuck on this for a month almost.

 

In my case I had a flat spot in the pedal. I would continue to accelerate and rather than have a linear response there were several degrees of change that would not result in acceleration.

The symptoms you are describing could be a lot of things... But in my own experience, every time my truck has started acting like that, there was a VP44 in the not too distant future...
