Relay is good? I'd just call pureflow if I were you, they know just about every potential problem you could have.

Question

Well I did notice the new relay I got is all the same numbers and letters but at the end of the original relay it says -R1 and the new one I got dosent have that could that make all the difference by any chance? Also do you think it's possible for a short internally like inside the pump itself is shorted?

So I installed a new Raptor lift pump two days ago and it worked great but now I'm having the exact same problem as you are. What did you find wrong with yours?

I took the hole pump motor out and found out the motor was bad. It would turn just for a split moment and that was it and it kept blowing the fuse becuase the pump motor wasn't moving. I bought a new pump and put it in and it was fine. I had a silver raptor one and now I have a black one (newer ones) and I've heard the silver ones had problems. But what I would do is take the pump out an hook the green and yellow wires I believe directly to a battery with no wiring harness an if it just moves for that spit second your moto might be shot. Let me know how it goes! Good luck

So after I posted last night I spent a little more time trouble shooting my pump and found that I had a couple little pieces of plastic or dirt or something jammed in the Gerotor Assembly. I pulled the gears out and I had to use a plastic punch to get them to separate. I cleaned them up with a wire brush while they were out I tested the motor and it spun with no load on it just fine. I reassembled the Gerotor assembly and reinstalled it and now the pump is working fine. The funny thing is the fuse never blew on the power feed to the pump. I'd think being jammed like it was it should have pulled some serious amp's and blown the fuse.

This is a direct quote from the PureFlowAirDog web site trouble shooting guide.

"If the unit does not run with direct power, verify that there is nothing lodged in the Gerotor Assembly (Refer to the section in the manual regarding cleaning debris from Gerotor Assembly)"

I hope our findings help someone down the road.
