Default T-46 Turbo. !READTHIS!

I found this turbo and there isnt much shaft play and just needs bearings and maybe new fins im not sure ill have to see if i can take it apart but this thing is big as ***** and i was wondering if i or anybody could use this! its off a Cummins NT855 marine diesel engine.

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Would anybody be able to put this on their truck? or is it a waste of time?

Any pictures? What size are the wheels and exh housing? Do any research on it?

I did a quick search, and it sounds like a low quality turbo. One forum said it may be good as a lower for compounds. Most others say it would be a good paper weight. Google is an amazing tool, FYI.

Its a giant turbo. we have an 855 in a tractor weve got and its not much for spooling, therefore i woudlnt think it work very well as a lower turbo.. plus thatd be one giant lower turbo for compounds
