Default BD stealth cover question!

Hello everyone,
So my BD stealth cover was put on and I showing my dad what was done to my truck and he pointed out that the red wire on the cover was disconnected. I was like huh so I checked were that wire went to and it went to the tap wire of my edge box, but I still have power from my chip which boggles my mind I talked to thorough bred and they couldnt help me.

If anybody knows what this wire does and If i dont have it connected what will happen i would appreciate it!

^^ thats the main question!

Thanks
-nick

Was you pump tapped already, and you just moved it from the wires on the back to the stealth plate pigtail?

So they installed the cover, but the wire from the EJWA fell off, or did they not connect it?

There is no noticeable difference with the wire now connected?

Well the tiny 6 sided nut was missing luckily i found another and put that one on but i did not noticed a difference. i cycled through all the settings and setting number 1 would make my trans slip all the others i would just flutter a bit, i could notice the power increases as well as the smoke.

Have you tested the connection at the Stealth cover pin? If not have a look at this thread:
