Ohh No It's A Fog Lamp Question Again
My stock foglamps went out with the rest of the stock front bumper trash. So now I have the wiring all bundled up against the frame just witin to attach a new set of lights to em. So with the understanding that I don't know nothin about electronics what kind of lights can I use with the stock switch and wiring without over heating it or blowing fuses. How big a wattage etc.

I believe the stockers for second gens are 35 Watts.
If you want to go with OEM style lights (which you probaby dont) you can check out www.LMCtruck.com
That being said, if it were me Id go with driving lights and wire them to a relay and seperate switch.

Oh well, it is generally a little more trouble than that but basically, take the power wire from the switch in the cab and feed the relay. The relay will have a ground and a a location for 12V source - this will be the battery and the switched side is the lamp.
I run 55W DOT legal fogs and they draw 12V of power direct from the battery and not the 4.8V that they do stock. They are very bright. I also have 450 HELLA's that i use a driving or pencil beams - again, same idea, very bright but very hot as well - hence the fuse and relay.
