Default pyrometer should or shouldnt i

i have a stock '"to my knowledge anyway" 2001 cummins 6 speed should i have a boost and pyrometer gauge?

That was the first thing i bought for mine and mine was bone stock when I got it.

thanks and i ready have a fuel pressure gauge on order so boost and pyro will probably be next.

I think its always good to be able to see whats going on in the engine. If I could, I would probably have 10 gauges in the cab. Unfortunately, OCD gets in the way of hanging gauges everywhere.

and does anyone here no if my trans is the nv5600 its a 6 speed manual

It should be. Options were a 4500 5 speed, or 5600 6 speed.
