i stock 2" hell bent steel kits and thats what i run on my personal trucks. 2" is enough for 35s. i dont really see a need for the extra 1/2"

the actual amount of lift is going to depend on how much your stock springs have bagged out over 12 years of carrying the front of your truck.

Personally I would go with a set of +2-1/2" Supercoils and not worry about who's lift kit/spacer kit to run. they do Awesome on mine and carry the extra 1000# of plow without any issue. If you do want spacers however, I think I still have the old Hell bent Steel spacers I had to start with if you want to buy them. shoot me an offer.

i dont have the money to spend on new springs right now, and if i was going to go that route and replace them id buy a complete lift kit instead of just trying to level it. for now i want to keep it cheap and simple. the kit im looking at comes with for new shocks, and spacers. i just need to know if it would be worth getting a 2.5'' over the 2''

measure the top of your wheel wells to the ground in the front and the rear and get the difference, thats what i did and it worked great for me. dont know if its the right way but it worked

just run some 2.5 coil spacers and dont look back. clears up to 35x1250s levels it all out. rides like stock, so it still sucks. My company doesnt even offer the 2 inch just the 2.5 and it looks damn level on my truck.
