Understandable by all means. It might work with the 66 feeding the HY.

So I bolt up the 66 to my manifold and feed that to the stock 35 I have and supply's boost to my intercooler.?

What year is your buddies truck? That turbo will spool uber slow, be hot and smokey, with not alot of boost. And dont plan on trying to tow with it as a single. If you did a 35 over the 66 like Ryan said it should act similar to the bd diesel super b compounds. It wouldnt be a powerhouse but it should spool quickly

He has a 01 HO with 6 speed. FASS 150 and ARD And head studs

Might have to draw me a simple diagram. I am sure I could do it my self. I have done everything to my truck do far. :rocking:

The smaller charger will bolt up to the manifold while the larger charger bolts up to the smaller charger....There is usually more brackets to help support the large charger as well.

A 66 in a compound setup vs. a 66 as a single is day and night... I think going from the idea of a 66 as a single to that of a bottom charger is kind of crazy. I guess depending on exactly which 66 you have and exactly what you want from your truck is mainly what will decide the difference.

I'm guessing if it's an "off the shelf" Borg warner like mine to run as single you will need T4 manifold ($500), some bigger injectors (atleast $500), and custom fab yourself an hx40 downpipe with the 4.21" flange. What the compounds would take to do yourself I couldn't say but it looks complicated lol

its actually a custom built from Indy Turbo Diesel Injection. specs are 66/74/14 non-Gated. The guy I bought it off of just was selling it because it was to big for his towing class. The More i think about it I am Really just about to trade it for a 62 or at the most a 64.

and i only have the t3 flange

Just an up date I got the 66 installed yesterday. Waiting on my down pipe to come in and looks like I will be doing some custom pipe work for the inter cooler hook up. Here is a couple photos.

3rd gen setup that thing is going to surge on you and be a laggy pos to drive around. seen it too many times vp's just don't have the ability to make it work like a 12v does. put an hx 35 with it so you can drive not look like a tool

I thinks he's got to find that out the hard way.
