I recently found some good deals on a quadzilla adrenaline with the pulse monitor. I have heard good and bad about this chip. Heard of people having alot of issues with earlier versions. Should i give it a shot or wait and by another brand when i can get the money saved up? Its going on an 02 vp44 truck.

 

I guess it depends what you are looking for in a chip? Just raw power, or do you want gauges, turbo timer, and other options? What are the plans for your truck in the future? What current mods do you have? These are all questions that will aid in a good answer.

 

I wanted gauges with it. I was looking at edge, h&s, quad, and diablo. Each offers the monitor for the dash. I like the quadzilla features and options, just scared of getting a bad chip. Im buying it used

 

My truck currently has 125hp injectors, a hotrod vp44, 4" turbo back and k&n cold air.

 

How about an upgraded lift pump?

Whew! I'm glad you said that! That's a nice, expensive VP44 to be starving fuel from.

Personally, I am not a fan of the Quad line of electronics. I have never run any of them, but read a lot of negative things about them. I have also read a lot of positive things about them as well. I don't think Edge's customer service can be beat. I have experienced that myself, and have heard the same from others. I have an Edge Juice with Attitude CTS, and it does everything and more then I want.

How old is the used Quad you are looking at? Why are they selling it? How much are they asking?

 

Its a year old. He is selling it because he traded the truck in for a new 6.7. He also has exhaust and and a bunch of other stuff in other craigslist ad so thats fairly believable. Im getting it for 300 bucks. Has the pulse monitor, pillar pod and all the wiring and manuals. Says he never had a problem with it. Have to get it tonight or ot goes to next in line

 

Ok now i found an edge juice with attitude for same price. Which one?

 

I'm partial to Edge. $300 is a good price for either.
