Is it possible to put a touch screen audio/navigation into a 2nd gen body style?

 

Flip out or double din? I have a 7inch pioneer flip out. Not sure if you can get double dins to fit. I know they don't make faceplates for them but if they are small enough you could probably get it to fit just need the dimensions.

 

preferably a double din. ive never been to keen on flip outs.

 

I would measure how much room you have and then look at some double dins and see if you can find some to fit. You'll more than likely have to fab up a faceplate though.

Ive seen some with a double din. looks good. if i hadnt already had my flip out from my old truck i would have cut one into mine.

 

A double DIN will fit. just takes lots of chopping and some fiberglass.

 

Look it up in some of the 94-01 1/2 ton forums. Alot more people had those trucks and did more mods like that. I know of a how to. Ill try to find it and post the link
