Default EJWA-CTS Install Questions

Hey Guys,

WELL! TODAY IS FINALLY THE DAY!

We only have till about 3 this afternoon because my wifes birthday party is tonight and I dont dare be late so we are only going to do the EDGE today and maybe the BHAF. we will do the injectors in a couple of weeks. which is good, I want to see what the edge does by itsef, then see what the difference is with the new injectors.

We finally have time to take the truck into a buddies shop today and they have no weekend work scheduled in the diesel shop or the trailer shop so we have the whole place to ourselves.

I have a couple of questions before we do.

Obviously I need to reflash it with th hypertech programmer to return it to stock before we start, but should I also remove the B&D diesel boost fooler? I installed it because it kept throwing an overboost code with the Hypertech and going into limp mode. will it still need the fooler with the Edge or it that issue compensated for within the edge programmer?

Thanks Guys.

I went with 100HP "big Dawg" Injectors from Luke at Diesel Dawgs. he shot me a pretty great deal on injectors, the EJWA-CTS, Stealth plate, Dash pod, & an edge EVO for my buddies 03 1500 360ci. (HUGE difference in the 03 1500 by the way, Thanks again Luke!)

WoW!! I am impressed. the only issues I have are that the Spedo isnt correct anymore, even after entering my tire sizes. is there really not a way to have the truck Spedo read correct? do I really have to use the CTS readout, because it is about 6 MPH off at 70 mph.

Edge wont reprogram thecomputer to compensate for tire size. So yes on the edge you have to use the readout on the pod

I can do it with the Hypertech. It allows you to adjust for tire size without flashing any other programming. will the adjustment of the speedo output affect any of the other parameters that the edge calculates?

Its way off after telling it now, so that doesnt bother me too much. I was just wondering if after reflashing the spedo calibration with the Hypertech I will then just need to tell the edge that it is "Stock Tire size" or if I will need to enter in the new tire size.
