Default mpg's

I see different people on here saying they get 20 mpgs. How or whats it take to get that kinda millage? and where are you getting that kinda millage, town or freeway. And im saying actually checking it and not reading it in those on boards that are never accurate, if you would have one... I left my truck on millage mode with the juice and it didnt help one bit so was trying to figure out if theres something else or better. any help would be great! Thanks

well a set of 285 75 16 tires will create less drag as this is whats on mine. full synthetics motor and diffs as the trans and t-case come stock with it. cold air intake and turn your edge up it will get better mileage on 3 if you don't abuse the throttle. right now I am getting 18 and that is country hills driving to redding and back home. highway I can get 20-23 but you gotta cruise it. a good converter and valve body will also help over stock setup

I like the s&b setup their filter flows enough to make 683 on the dyno. I didn't even take off the air filter last time on the rollers

Are looking at the over head screen that tells you what mileage your getting?? Those are usually incorrect. Try hand calculating your MPGs

Mine avg's 21. Hot rod vp44, 125hp injectors, 4" exhaust, raggedy k&n intake kit. No tuner right now. Helps that its a 2wd ex cab short bed. 3.55 gear with 275/50/20 nittos. And the nv5600 6 speed
