Default raptor 150 install (inside frame rail clearance issues)

I have a 2001 cummins quad cab short box and am putting a raptor 150 on it with draw straw. Raptors instructions say to mount on the inside frame rail. I mounted it there as far to the front as I could to avoid hitting the fuel tank. I currently have the tank dropped to do the drawstraw install. I don't know if this is going to work or not. If I mount it on the outside frame rail where there are no obstructions, the pump would have to be mounted upside down or the lines could also be switched too. It looks like the front of the fuel tank is going to hit the raptor pump if left where it is. The tank may not go back up in there. Has anyone else had this problem or am I the only one? Should I just mount it on the outside? Please Help!! Thank You
