Default Explain injectors to me please

My 01 QC has 160k on it with a few mild mods, Hypertech tuner (First gen) 35/40 turbo, boost fooler, larger tires, GDP lift pump & big line kit. I keep having people tell me I need to upgrade injectors but I have no idea what to upgrade to. what HP are stock injectors, what size can I safely upgrade to and what bennifits can I expect out of the upgrade?

How will it affect the driveability & what will it do to my fuel mileage?

with what you have now a different programmer like an edge juice with attitude for gauges as I don't see any listed in your signature will help a lot a hypertech doesn't add much. for injectors your truck stock has 235hp injectors if auto or 245hp injectors if a 6spd. I would say go with a set of 75hp over stock injectors will increase fuel mileage once the newness wears off. It will drive great too.

I was really happy with what my 65's have done for me so far. A nice increase in power, and noticeable mileage improvement as well.

so when looking at injectors I assume that when they are listed as 75hp, 100hp, 150hp, etc...that is the over stock rating?

What is a Good set of injectors and what ones should I steer away from? I see 75hp sets listed for $420 and others listed for $690... Whats the difference?

Yes they are hp over stock based on 235hp motors. Except if you see the bosh rv275's that is total hp of the motor.

I have found you get what you pay for. I spent 6xx on my ddp injectors after running a set of cheap injectors and there was a huge difference in smoke and hp for same advertised hp. I would not hesitate to buy another set of ddp injectors for daily driving.

I would put our Big Dawg Injectors against DDP Injectors.

I actually was looking at your Injectors. I have also been thinking about an edge Juice+CTS or an Adrenaline +PV2.
Is one clearly better than the other or are they just two companies attempt at the same thing?
Does either compensate the spedo for larger tires? (I couldnt find that feature listed)

Does the Turbo Timer work the same on both?

and lastly, do the electronic gauges work well. Is the calibration on them sufficient or do "Real" gauges work better?

I've got a guy that's been building VP44 injectors for a long time. Out of hundreds of sets I have yet to have any returns or unsatisfied customers. Thats all the proof I need. You don't have to spend $700+ for a good set of injectors. Now I'm not saying they are the best. There are lots of excellent injectors available such as DDP, SDX, Machs and LBDP. Not trying to start a war I'm just saying just because they don't cost a lot don't mean they are junk.

Maybe a few years back this would have been the case but now the knowledge and technology is more shared and tricks of the trade if you will are more openly provided. That being said there's a limited number of facility able to machine these things. If you know what to ask for you can achieve very similar results with a wallet friendly injector.
I can say I took a 150 horse jammers to 489rwhp
