Default Suggestions for next steps on my new truck...

Ok so I just bought my first diesel truck, well actually my first truck. Its a 99 Dodge Cummins 5 speed thats almost totally stock under the hood and I'm wanting to up my performance a little for now. Its got a FiltaKleen Oil Bypass system, an AFE air intake, and 2 Edge EZ chips (not stacked they used to be but I took one off). I've got long term plans for down the road when I can save up some money for it but I'm a full time student in college and so after purchasing this beauty my cash flow is quite a bit more limited. I'm looking at selling off the EZ chips and buying a Quadzilla Adrenaline. I was thinking this cuz I want a chip where I can monitor my parameters in the cab and for the gas mileage, plus the added power when needed. So I'm open to suggestions for what the next best step would be without going totally crazy right now.So fire away with your thoughts as I'm not super knowledgeable about these trucks.

Thanks for Your Input!!!

J

You need a pusher pump, if your on a budget run a raptor 100 or 150, or fass makes a similar pump too.

I was gonna save up and just do a full 150gpm Fass or Airdog, but will I need a bigger pump to run that Adrenaline in stage 11?

so i'd be better off as my very first step to just go ahead and buy my big lift pump? what would you suggest cuz i'm planning on going with larger injectors (up to 150hp) please anyone jump in on this. I'm just trying to do this right and i'm not necessarily trying to skimp on the price but saving a few dollars is nice if the product is quality.

if your planing on huge injectors and a big programmer, go with an airdog 150 or Fass titanium 150..they will push enough fuel.

im running the air dog 150 with the edge juice w/attitude personally. im planning on putting some 150 injectors in here soon. you would be fine with either the air dog 150 or the fass titanium 150 as stated before the will push the fuel you will need. i would also get a fuel pressure guage so you can monitor the vp44, that is crucial.. keep us informed on your progress

a fass 95 will push 603hp thats what mine did and help 16psi the whole time. I bought a stock 99 5 spd and put the 95 on that and went to the 150 for my compounds. But I believe that a 95 will support more than 600. I ran 240hp injectors and my compounds so you don't have to go huge but a lift pump and a fuel pressure gauge should be first. I like edge of quad but thats just my experience everyone has different some had same issue with edge as I did with quad
