i got a superchips flashpaq and went and updated it on superchips website n all and now its showin a General Database 5 error. call superchips! use codes G-6F. I would like to find out why it did this. thanks

it just gives you a great excuse to buy an edge comp or jwa with built in gauges

Well from several people I kno that's ran edge products or delt wit em say they blow lota smoke n put on a show but for ur money theirs better products. From my understanding theyre a dirty product. Everyone has their own believe tho. That's jus mine. I called superchips n got my programmer workin again. I'm hooked on a trailer 90% of the time haulin livestock and with the mods + superchip flashpaq on my 01 cummins she does awesome n really came to life. I jus needed to wake er up a bit that's all not blow the doors off every other truck out there haha

 

well it really depends on what they were running them on. I think an edge ez would be optimal for what your doing. For a 24v vp truck you can't beat edge trust me and fyi msd owns edge and superchip.

 

I have no complaints about my edge!!! It really woke the truck up. It has a tow mode on level 3.... Plus all the gauges and the safety features it has with the backdown parameters. That's what sold me on it the most. Alot of guys around here are running the edge and pullin trailers it will do most all and if you wanna blow that stang or ricer away you can. It's just each ones own opinion I'm sure the superchips is a good chip also

 

They were on cummins. I did not kno that bout MSD idk I paid 200 for it and have been well pleased. If I buy sumthin different I think I'll go with the smarty??
