Default Glowshift gauges only stay red?

Its really not that big of a deal but I want to be able to change colors on them. I know for sure they are the 7 color changing ones, the buttons arent jammed at all either. Just wondering if the guy before me wired them wrong? I made a jumper to the battery and it seems like they all have a constant ground and so they are on when the truck is off when I jumped it. sorry for the long post...

A lot of people have had all sorts of problems with glowshift gauges, I think it's probably an internal problem with the gauge, not wiring. If they're still under warranty you might look into getting them switched out.

i had some with that problem and looked at them closer and if all the wires are not hooked up or hooked up right they will just stay red and not get power to the leds. nothing against glowshift but didnt care for having to get a new fuel pressure gauge ever other month so there long gone now

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i missed hooking up one of the wires and once i hooked it up all was good with all 7 colors cause i wires them in a series and not individual.

just make sure your switched power wire and constant wire is plugged in with a fuse and not somewhere where there is no fuse. mine wasnt wired into where there was a fuse and they did this.

Besides not changing color I have no complaints about them. I don't think I will get rid of them till they actually quit working. I'm only 19 so my extra money goes towards rent and everything else
