Looking at buying a programmer. Found an edge ez for a decent price. I'm wanting some real life reviews of the programmer. I'm not looking to throw a whole lot at it, until I can save up for a transmission rebuild. My trans is fine now want to keep it that way for alittle while longer. SO let me know what kind of real improvments they make.

 

Depends on how good of a deal. It will add around 65hp.

My ol 2k ran good with it and def didnt kill the tranny I wasnt easy on it. Nothing huge in the hp gain department but def alot better than stock

 

Thanks, guys, I'm also working on a deal to get a banks big hoss tuner. So if it works out I have both to play with.

take a look at the quadzilla xzt+, i dont have one but i hear a lot of good things about them, a tad cheaper than the EZ and it has the option of different (downloadable) tunes

 

I have two Edge EZ chips and I must say that its not a powerhouse chip but it adds some nice bottom end to my acceleration, also more than anything it added 1.5-2 mpg to my average which i must say is a definite plus

 

The 01 I just bought has an EZ on it and its not quite as much fun as my hot juice but its a nice little economy chip, the thing I don't like about it is im used to having the monitor
