So I had a question on how to install the boost line its an autometer gauge and all it came with was a T spliter but I can't find the line im supossed to tap into

 

Best way is to tap the intake horn as close to the head as possible... it didn't come with a brass fitting? I want to call it a compression fitting but I'm not sure thats the right name...

 

Ya I heard that's the best way i just wasnt sure cause it didn't come with one so I was just thinking I could tap into a line but where do you think I could find one?

 

I don't know if that's possible... I can't see how it would be, I'm guessing the T is for reading off of a vacuum line maybe?

 

Oh I see since I only need boost not vacuum where could I find a compression bolt?

 

Try a hardware store, ACE carries alot of good stuff like that. if theres any near you give it a shot. This is what you're looking for, 1/8" npt compressions fitting (guess I was right)

obviously you want a male end, not female, so you can tap it into the intake horn correctly... and while I'm pointing out the obvious, take the horn off the motor before you drill it

I have no experience with this and not sure how good it will work but its another option to drilling and tapping.

 

I believe you're supposed to use that bolt in place of one of the bolts that bolts the horn to the head.

 

That bolt is a replacement bolt for a bolt on the plate under the horn (intake manifold)
