Default smoke switch

what is everyones opinion on a smoke switch my truck is all stock exept airdog 150 straight pipe and cold air intake. and i was thinking about putting a smoke switch on it

Why do you want a smoke switch? Save your coin and get a programmer. Get some extra HP instead of making it look like you do. Just my opinion.

i had a smoke switch in mine a while back,, blew the turbo in 2 weeks, i was doin it all the time though

ok, so i understand the end result of said "smoke switch" and am with the rest of you on it being pointless but, how exactly does it work? Do you tap the pump wire and trick it into dumping fuel? Hijack the air/fuel ratio?

^^ If I remember correctly you tap into the map sensor and trick the ECM.

@ the OP don't do it, its a waste of money and time. Save some dough and buy a real performance product.

Best way to make some smoke is a good set of injectors... call JL Machine, my buddy got his 100hp set from them for $220 shipped

on a 6.0 you just unplug the wire that goes into the turbo and put a togle switch on it that will control it then just plug it back in. I had one when I was a young retarded dumbass.
