Edge. Smarty doesn't make much power if that's what your going for. Edge allows you to monitor other engine vitals too. I have mine setup with fuel pressure fuel and intake temp and throttle percentage and its adjustable on the fly. Make sure you have a goood fuel pump output before you do either thoufgh, edge will give you a gauge fo fuel pressure sensor which is nice if you don't have gagues yet.

Around 120hp for the Edge. Around 65hp for the Smarty.

My Stock tranny is holding up w/ my Smarty on 4 with timing bumped to 2. I stacked Edge Comp without tapping pump and my trans wants none of it even on lvl 1x3 and Smarty on 4 w/no timing. When i pull my tractor i bump Smarty down to 2 w/no timing and it does fine pulling 8000lbs. Needless to say, the Comp will not be back on until trans is beefed up.

Depends on what condition your tranny is in but its only a matter of time....

Is it really 120hp or 60hp to the back tires cause the smarty says 140 but is putting out 65 to the back wheels.

I can tell a BIG difference between level 1 and 5 on my Edge. I doubt its 120 but i would say 80 or 90.

the edge puts 120+ to the rear wheels. the vp smarty makes 65 and I think the smarty for the common rail makes 140
