I believe edge's hp to thw wheels was measured at around 5500 ft above sea level so lower elevation might be a little more and visa versa higher if you want to get technical

 

go with quadzilla and skip both you can fine tune em and in my opinion its the best tuner out right now and the most power a tuner gives for our cummins 180 hp

Before I got my Edge, I read alot of reviews about alot of different programers. I didnt like what i saw about the Quadzilla on the 24v. Anything that claims it can 180hp from a tune on a 24v is pushing the fuel system way beyond capicity and seeing how horribly these have messed up some trucks around here first hand, id stay away from them. If you want to get the "best", then you go to Blue Chip Diesel and either get the FMS box or the Redline box. Those are truly the best for the 24v.

 

i got a 5 speed and the airdog 150 so i think my trans will hold up just fine same with my fueling if i get the edge i think ill be fine and how much is the blue chip. and thanks everyone for your input its making my choice much easier.

 

with either it will destroy your clutch. personally I think the smarty makes a much more fun to drive truck with the manual tranny, the edge has no bottom end power, but definitely has the top end. It depends what your plans are for the truck, if this is going to be your main upgrade, go with the edge for the gauges...

 

Blue chip is $1k but its the best for our 24v.

 

I've used Edge Juice w/ Attitude for 2 years now. Simple electronic gauges come with it. Definantly worth the money.

i have big plans for my truck like head studs turbo injectors clutches i want a very street truck but still be able to haul horses and what not
