Default 150hp inj. on the way. Advice?

So I got a set of stage 5 jammers, I hear they get hot quick on stock setup but I got a good deal and I couldn't say no, I figure I can just adjust the big head actuator to give me some more boost, and that should help, right? What kinda psi should I be looking to have?

your stock charger will get quite toasty with that setup, plus you don't want to take it much past 32-35psi of boost, its just superheated air that is inefecient. plus you are overspooling it running the risk of breaking it!
i would upgrade the turbo and definetly get some headstuds!

Thanks guys. I think a bigger turbo (or twins) is out of the question for a little while, I'll just do my best to keep the egt safe as possible and hope for the best. Anything else I should be doing or considering while I'm at it? Connector tubes, etc?

(or twins)
COMPOUNDS get you much better boost and performance over twins.

Not connector tubes, they won't help... que 01Quadcab.
Water Methanol injection will help.

Sell the jammers, and put that money to a GOOD set of injectors.

It's just poor machining, yielding poor spray patterns. My fireball 65's are treating me very well. So well, that I bought 150's from the same guy. Luke at Diesel Dawgs. Essentially they are a great injector without the price of a big brand name. If you have a good local diesel shop, buy nozzles and have the shop swap them for you. My 65's ended up costing $300 with all new sealing hardware, including the labor for swapping and pop testing.

the jammers are very dirty injectors, i have tried ddp and they were awesome!
as for the compounds you could just pick up an ht3b used for around 300 bucks and some pipe for around 200 and build your own set.
as for the connector tubes you don't need to do anything there other than maybe drill out the little filter thats in there. don't know if it realy gains much but i did it and it definetly didn't hurt anything.
