Default Quadzilla w/Pulse V2 monitor ?'s

Iv had my quadzilla on my truck for like a year now but i cant figure out how to make it smoke more. Im not sure how to download new tunes, maybe i can just change the parameters around and make my own?

Are you wanting to only make it smoke more or actually make power with it? Cause with the smoking out thing, simply turn it up as high as it'll go then sit back while you melt a piston or blow your tranny.

Now if you want to make power and it use reponsibly give us some more details on your pickup, gauges, tranny, ect.

Na i want power along with more smoke, tranny is a 6 speed manual stock, its got the quadzilla programer and a s&b intake system. For gauges all i have is the ones on the pulse v2 monitor. other than that its stock

Well, first I can say you will need an aftermarket lift pump. Since you said everything is stock more likely than not you're running the VP on the ragged edge. With your programmer on full power you're really asking alot from your stock lift pump. A FASS or AirDog system will give you more than enough fuel for your needs. By the way, what's your fuel gauge saying? How much psi are you seeing?

Also, you should really consider getting a egt gauge so you know when to lift your foot. A 4" tbe(turbo back exhaust) would be highly recommended so the exhaust gases can escape easier, stock restricts way too much, especially if you're dumping alot more fuel.

As far as downloading new tunes or making your own I would call the company you purchased it from and ask them. I'm sure someone else here can help you out alot more than I can simply because I'm not into programmers and chips.

Hope this somewhat helps man. O what are you're plans for the p/u down the road? DD, tow rig, dedicated puller/racer?

Where there's smoke there's unburnt fuel..... If you plan to lengthen your injector timming to produce excessive smoke I would strongly reccomend one of our FASS systems. The pintel on the injector will come slamming down on the tip and if there is any air in your fuel system you can blow tips etc. We've all had injector issues.... As to custom tunes I would look into EFI live. They have the most customization IMO. Give us a call at FASS if you want more tech information. Fass - Fuel Air Separation System

I would say that your lift pump can't supply the fuel you actually need.
What tune do you have loaded and what level do you have it set at?

Awesome thanks alot for the help guys, iv heard alot about those fass fuel systems and how good they are. Im definitely gona put one on soon. My plans for the truck are simple, wana make alot of power so that i can beat those stupid rice rockets off the line. And if i get some good money down the line ill for sure make it a dedicated puller!

well dont turn it up to much...stock clutch wont hold. GET A PUMP! if you want smoke download the Torque tune. It is SMOKEY! if you dont want to download a new tune, or dont know how, custom tune it so tps mins are at 10, max at 60 pump stretch max and boost scale 25. should roll some coal. might get a little surgey though. my stock clutch lasted all of a month on lvl 5 of 10 (or 11 if you count 0) also watch your boost a stock hx35 is good for about 35psi. after that you have a really hot gernade. obviously watch the egts too they pick up pretty quick.

Really? You want SMOKE? Thanks for being 'that guy' who gives us all (responsible owners) a bad name.

Be smart, buy a aftermarket pump of sorts (so you don't lose a VP), get gauges, etc.
