So i have a 2000 automatic 24 valve and i was sort of looking into the Bully Dog Watch dog monitor and was wondering what everyones opinions were? do they just plug in under the dash or where? and is there any extra modifications to get it working?

Thought about that one. wasnt sure what it all monitors cause there not very descriptive online, all i really need to monitor is my pyro, trans temp, boost, and fuel pressure for sure. if either on of those has all those ill go with it

 

Same here. I emailed edge and in a few days they got back to me on what all it see on my 2001. The edge looks cleaner and will monitor over 10 things for alarms. and its super easy to install.

This is what my insight will see on the 2001 (Boost, Egt, Accel Pedal Position, Battery Temp, Battery Voltage, Boost, Calculated Load, Corrected Speed, Engine Coolant Temperature, Engine Speed, Fuel Level, Intake Air Temp, Throttle Position, Trans Temp, and Vehicle Speed). The egt thro is a pyro you have to buy and install but it was easy. every thing else was from the obu2 port

 

ok sweet. I'll most likely go with that. my truck has guages for pyro boost and fuel pressure but they look like crap so I want this to clean it up

 

This is what my edge insight cs looks like in my 2001 with the dash mount. It be the same for your 2000.
