Default How High Will My EGT Be?

Iam runing a High tech turbo 62/13 stainless steel a edge juice with att egde jamers 150hp how hot is it gona be with the chip off .Im new at this game.

what kind of air filter and exhaust are you running??? thats important too....your truck automatic or standard???

stock air box and a k&n filter 4in exhaust in to 5in stacks 5 speed 355 gears what is the max fuel pressur for a vp 44 pump is 30 psi to much..

You are going to need more airflow than the stock box will give you. You might suck that filter clean through! You need an intake system of some sorts with that. As far as the fuel pressure, 30 is too high, you need to be more like 16, keep it under 20 is the general rule.

EGTs, well, how high were they before? 150's tend to be pretty warm. Its going to knock off some temp, but my guess is you are going to still have to keep and eye on it.

How long do you want to keep your foot in it, no matter what your setup, your egt's are a direct result of your right foot.

thanks you all on level 5 I cant get to hot 1038 max temp on the floor no injectors and I back the fuel press off to 17 psi

hey james whats up man?

its gonna get warm but it will be manageable, we'll get that air box taken care of don't need it choking the turbo, glad you figured out why your pressure was too high, hope you get these things in this weekend I'm ready to take a ride in it, but i got a sneaky suspicion that the clutch is gonna go
