Fass Fuel Leak
After a year of installing my Fass pump it started to develop a leak around the fuel filter, then I thought the O-ring was bad so I bought a new filter and lube the O-ring with diesel then cleaned the surface of the fuel plate, but it still didn't fixed the problem. I'm running out of ideas where to trace the leak. Any ideas or tips are greatly appreciated.
How have you checked for the leak? If you turn the key to run, and just bump the starter, the FASS should run for about 25 seconds. In that time you could look while there is pressure in the lines.
I cleaned the surface with Brake cleaner, after I bump the starter there wasn't any trace but if I drive the truck for about 1 - 3 miles then it begins leak. Which seems like its coming from the fuel filter i'll post a picture of it when I get home.
