yep countryboy976 it definetly taps the pump, i have helped install 3 of them and all 3 have the pump tap. did you buy it new? Or used? maybe if it was used the pump tap wire was cut off at one time or another

hmmm well mine don't have that wire and no wires are cut i just went through the harness i bought it new sorry guys my mistake then

its all good we are here to learn from each other anyways . i wonder why yours doesn't have it? you would notice a drastic difference in power if you get the pump tapped haha

Quad adren 180hp level 10 from factory plus custom tunes available once a month, my buddy has his at 230hp custom tune, thers a de fueling program in it so it wont hurt your vp. only $600 with pulse V2 monitor at Cummins Performance Parts CPP Adrenaline 4k RPM box with V2 Pulse controller

the smarty on the vp truck doesn't add near the power they do on the cr trucks. Since you already have gauges go with an edge comp you will be very happy you did. you can find an used comp or comp hot for 300-350.

as for people saying a pump tap box kills a vp faster is a load. If you have proper fuel pressure they live. I know more people with dead pumps on stock trucks then dead pumps with wire tapped

I would do either the Edge Comp or the Edge Juice with CS/CTS.
