have you tried removing the check ball and spring to clean it? also call fass they may have a fix cheaper than buying a new pump. they also sell a replacement motor for the pump

Go Raptor 150 if you plan on making HP... friend of mine has a 100 on his heavily modded truck and it struggles to keep up with demand when he drops the hammer

I made 600hp with a fass 95 only reason I went bigger was because I bought a 2nd vp truck and put the 95 on it. but it always had a constant 16psi no matter what

Do you have to drop the tank to install a draw straw on all raptor 150's or only if you have the intank pump?I'm getting ready to order one for my 01 that has the pump on the block and not sure if i need the drawstraw or not?

You dont "need" the draw straw but, I would recommend it. If you have the intank pump, you need to disconnect to install aftermarket Lift Pump. I had fuel gauge level issues and added an Air Dog, found that wasnt the problem, then later swapped out in tank fuel module(Fixed Problem), and added draw straw. The draw straw helped a ton, no more 2-3 crank starts, it ensures that you are always getting fuel. The Vulcan Draw Straw 5(V) is a real slick kit, snaps together inside of the airtex fuel module.

The other option is to buy the whole thing already put together.
Modified liberty fuel module

BTW - Much easier to lift the bed off thank to drop the tank (if you have a lifting device, i.e. overhead winch, or 3 buddies) With my overhead winch, me and 1 other guy lifted bed, assembled draw straw to fuel module, swapped fuel module, bolted the bed back on in a little over an hour.
