As COMPOUNDS it will yield high drive pressure and hot boost. As a single, it will need a lot of fuel and RPM to light. Best idea is to make a HX35/40 hybrid. Use the HX40's compressor housing and compressor wheel on the HX35's center section and exh housing.

I was mistaken on my turbo setup. I currently have a HY35 not an hx... with that being said is there anything I can do to make a hybrid with the 40? Sorry for the wrong info.

I've never seen a HY35/40 hybrid. Even upgrading from the 9cm HY35 you have to a 12cm HX35 will help on the top end of your performance. An HX35 can usually be picked up for $300-$350. Add $100 for the HX40, and you have a decent turbo for decent cash. I bought my HX35 for $300, and a HX40 core for $150 (i think), and plan to make a HX35/40 hybrid as well.
