Question 150hp injectors too much??

Well a guy i know is gonna be buying a bigger set of injectors for his 24valve he has 150hp injectors in it now low miles on them and he said i could have them for $400 once he gets his new ones. My only worrie is that 150hp sticks may be to much for my truck. Its only has edge ez, straight pipe and raptor 100 lift pump

I just got rid of some 275 stick's in a pretty much stock truck and his temps is still fine all in the driving and make sure you keep fuel pressure.

Your stocker will be fine and pick you up a nice 64 turbo and some studs truck will be a blast

My friend is running about 275's in his stock turbo truck with drag comp just don't get it to hot.

Got another thats running 150's in a stock truck and it's just fine he tow's with it often.

Ask what kind of injectors. A quality set of 150's will be ok on a stock turbo while you get your funds up for a new turbo. At that point get yourself a 62/14 and it'll run awesome with those 150's. Any bigger than a 62 turbo and you'll need 200hp injectors.

you must be talking rv 275's and thats total power of engine. not 275hp over stock a stock turbo would melt down very fast with that much fuel. I ran that much fuel with compounds and still got warm.

I would be careful when running 150hp injectors on a stock turbo you will have to drive by pyrometer but first I would find out what brand they are as there are some cheap ones out there.

No I am talking I sold him my Custom Mach7's they were EDM over. Don said about 275 HP injectors. I went to a custom smaller nozzle. I don't know if it's just the Mach's but they really don't get hot.

how does his truck act with them. compare apples to apples. how much more raddical is his than yours. i would assume 150s will get hot pretty fast on a stock truck. prolly run them just fine and be a blast to drive but... what are you doing with it future plans ect.
