Default air dog 2 bogging truck down

hey guys i installed my airdog 2 165 yesterday and im going to be installing my fuel pressure gauge today but from what the manual says i should be sitting at 15-17 psi right now but it seems like my truck has bogged down quite a bit and smokes alot harder since the install the truck seems alot slower and when i get off the high way after going like sixty the truck engine sounds like crap and sounds like its way overfueled almost like its gonna die ?? any suggestions?? i lost a lotta speed the truck seems slower now

Get the gauge in ASAP to see what is going on, it's a MUST!

you dont wire in to the airdog, you tap into the banjo bolt on the VP44 or the top of the filter head for the fuel filter.

Try turning the adjuster counter clock wise to lower pressure and see if it runs better.

25 psi at idle is way too high, you will smoke your vp... 18-19 tops, unless you notice it dropping to under 10 at wot, then go 20. Between 12-18 is a safe range for all times, less than 10 and more than 20 can be damaging to the vp44

Too much pressure can damage the diaphram inside the pump.
