Ebay Headlights
So i bought these lights...
Euro LED Chrome Housing Headlight w/Corner Light LH+RH | eBay
From ebay. First off i get them in the mail and one has a broken mount. So i go to autozone and grab some plastic weld and fix it... Easier than going through the return process and mailing back... So i go to put em in and the driver's side headlight has a bad socket for the turn signal. So once again i fix the problem and cut off the bad socket and splice it into the truck's wiring directly. It works for about 2 minutes and as i am placing the light into position one of the wires breaks off the circuit board. I didnt tug on it or anything, just the normal movement from putting it into position was enough to break it. So i bust out the soldering supplies and spend 20 minutes trying to solder it back to the board through a 1" hole. I get it soldered and test the lights one more time. Guess what? Now the pass side light has a wire broken off the circuit board... I didnt even touch it! So i solder that one back on and it does not work afterward. So i rip em out throw em on the ground and put my stockers back in. They looked good for the 2 seconds they worked. I call the company to try and get a refund and they say they cant because the lights had been "modified". I didnt modify anything i just fixed the problems that the lights shouldnt have had... He says you should have shipped them back... Well guess what, we would have had to pay shipping 8 times if we shipped them back and forth for each time they broke, did ya think of that jacka$$??? Lesson learned people. These lights look nice on the ebay pages but theyre no better than anything else made these days. Dont buy ebay lights. Theyll be going in my bonfire.
