Ture,I'm also wouldering what his fuel pressure is a WOT. As I seen with the VP trucks with heavy mods. Below 17 psi (WOT) at the VP starts to loss HP on the DYNO.
I would have to agree. As long as my EJWA is reading correctly, I never see less then 18 PSI, but only on the initial stomp of the throttle.
Knowing fuel pressure would be handy for diagnosing.

Default Wastegate or tune?

Fuel pressure is 14 at WOT. I can't see that being an issue as these things are getting plenty of fuel at that psi/volume... Im just thinking, itll still run perfectly fine at 5psi, and thats why people blindly kill vp44's. They just dont know theres a problem because the truck is running fine at that psi. Also, my 64mm turbo like i said ran perfect at 54 psi and 14 psi FP. I didn't get the truck out today but I did go out and pinch the line off. I'll test it tomorrow. Hoping it's just the gate. Thanks for your input everyone it's appreciated. I'm planning on meth injection and hitting the dyno this summer, so I need to get it running right. I'd love to hit the 1/4 mile but I hate throwing locked shifts without a billet flex plate and input shaft... Didn't think i was gonna go this far when I built my trans. Oops.

Default Wastegate or tune?

Well looks like it's the wastegate like I thought. I havent had a place to run it WOT in overdrive yet but in 3rd it does 53 psi and stays nice and smooth. Pulls like a ****. Thought id get more than 53 psi out of the compounds though with the WG blocked... I guess I'll try it in overdrive on the interstate later and see what it hits.

Default Wastegate or tune?

Runs 57psi in overdrive. Seems like it's kinda doin the same thing though it hits 57 then bogs down a little and rests at 54 or so with fluctuation. Only in overdrive it's ok in third at the slightly lower boost psi. Just still doesn't feel crisp in overdrive at WOT still feels like soggy bread haha
