Default snow performance stage 2 kit

I was looking at the price of the mpg kit for my truck and once I saw it was 1000 dollars I laughed and started looking at the stage 2 kit which I saw for half the price, but I'm wondering if someone with the stage 2 kit can chime in with some knowledge on it and tell me if it compares to the mpg kit any bit or if its way different? I want to get it to increase my mpg and get a little boost in power and cool down a bit before I think about more mods but if the stage 2 kit doesn't really compare to the mpg kit then idk. I'm kinda in the dark on it, all I know is the mpg kit is supposed to boast 1 to 3 mpg increase and as far as the stage 2 I don't know how much more different it is.

We sale a lot more Stg3 kits than we do the Max MPG kits. Most customers go with the Stg3 over the Stg2 due to the digital controller than comes with the Stg3. But it all really depends on your budget.

Maybe I got my stage wrong cause the one I looked at had the digital controller. But either way is there a difference in programming on it that makes it better than the non mpg max kits?
