Default Which injectors for my setup?

I have a '99 with an airdog 100 and edge ez. I'm looking to maximize fuel economy and for the ability to pull a 33' 5th wheel total rolling load around 16k without too much effort. From reading this forum I have gathered that adding some injectors in the 65 to 100 hp range can boost fuel mileage and performance.

What do you guys suggest?

pulling a 5th wheel, i dont see injectors helping fuel milage. it will help the take off though and can help fuel milage if you keep your foot out of it when empty for sure.

for what your wanting to do, i would say anywhere from 50 to 100 would be ok, 100 is getting towards the limits of you needing a turbo to keep egts low.

some argue that bigger injector can help your mpgs... idk i had stock upgraded to rv injectors and i love them. i get 25 with no load.. but i have 5 inch ex. and edge.. so idk. imo you cant go wrong with the rv injectors

with stock turbo and towing like that I would only do 40-65hp any more and you will have to drive by pyro way too much to be comfortable while towing.

7*0.010" Injectors would be your best bet for all around improvement. I would suspect you have gauges already, but these will help with a little more umph to get the load going and have a better atomization to burn the fuel better and keep egt's reasonable.

Default Thanks for the replies.

I do appreciate your feedback. 7*0.010 injectors would be in the 125hp range?

60 range will give you a bit more go without dumping in fuel on that stock turbo. Should keep egt's reasonable while giving you a little more confidence on grades. Just my .02

7*0.010" are 100HP when you have to have HP ratings.
