Ur killin me Matt, I thought man 315's would of fit and so now everytime i look at the truck I think that. Now u said it. But with 3.55's im happy with the 285's otherwise 3.73's would be in order which still is not a bad idea.

Ha ha Im sorry bud. I think they look great with 285s!! Better mileage that way too... 315s would have fit but woulda filled up the wheel well most of the way. Its all a matter of preference.

What are teh rest of the numbers for your tire? 285/??/??. I'm running 305/70r16's with 2.5" coil spacers. Fills the gap and fender well nicely. Thinking about going a little smaller next time. Thinking more about narrower then shorter, I guess.

285/75-16 I got the 285's instead of the 305/70 because i wanted to keep the OEM wheels and OEM wheels are usually a more narrow wheel both are basically same height but the 305's have a wider foot print.

305/70R16-
Tread Width:10"
Rim Width Range: 8.5-10”
Outer Diameter: 33”
Section Width: 12.2”

285/75-16-
Tread Width: 9”
Rim Width Range: 7.5-9”
Outer Diameter: 32.9”
Section Width: 11.4”

285/75R16 and 305/70R16 are almost the exact same on the height of both tires.
