Default 2nd to 3rd gen track bar conversion

well seeing that i need to replace all 4 ball joints up front, while im in there Now may be the time to do the track bar conversion since that has also been giving me some problems. I have been looking and there are several different kits out there. I was just curious as to who is running which brands and what you have to say about it, also any pros or cons and any problems you ran into while installation would be great. thanks guys!

Now, correct me if im wrong here, but i remember reading somewhere that if your truck is not lifted you do not need to use an adjustable track bar for this conversion you could just use a solid track bar for a 2003 and up. Is this correct or is my memory failing me yet again haha.

I helped put that kit on a truck it is a very nice kit. I wanted one up until I read "NOTE: WILL NOT WORK WITH MAG HY-TEC DIFF COVERS"

I see it says that... Now how come it will not work with that diff cover? I know it has an increased capacity, but is it that much larger where it will hit the trac bar?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Or maybe it is because the stock trac bar has a slight bend in it right near the diff, and this one is straight...

I busted a DT track bar w/my Mag cover.
It did hit.
The aluminum tube they use is larger in diameter.
