I had an HTT 62/65/12 with less than 10,000 miles on it and I was noticing excessive turbo bark, like it would just do it more often than it should have, between every shift and such so I took it off and sent it in and had a cracked housing and a couple bad bearings, and they didn't warranty any of it, cost me almost as much to get it fixed as it did to buy it in the first place, I'm not saying they make junk, but I'm not happy with them, hence why I have an Industrial Injection turbo now, I also bought the HTT from Premier Performance so i know they're an authorized HTT dealer, but HTT didn't wanna stand behind their warranty

Cummins Smoke,

I got a D-Tech 62/65/12 with what is in my sig and it is current. I called FBD about the 125's and they told me that they just sent me a set of 150's cause they do not make a specific 125, so no worries for me. I have no issues with this turbo. It has been great, but I have different plans for my truck now. So I am going to get a BD special soon. I have pulled a small bay boat maybe an 18fter and that has been the extent of pulling. I moved from South Flordia to Maryland with the Army and loaded the bed down with stuff that the movers did not take. Can remember the weight, but I got it listed on the weight ticket at work. No issues with the extensive driving on interstate. Did real well in stop and go traffic in Ft Lauderdale and Miami. So it has served it's purpose and has performed well. I have no issiues with recommending D-Tech. Yes there are many more turbos out there, but at the time I needed a replacement, the money tree had already dried up and died in the back yard. So this was a better option for me at the given time. I have put 11,000 miles on it. When I first put it on I needed to spin the housing to get the right alignment. I put too much and stripped a bolt on the back side of the housing. 11 months went by and while in Maryland I thought about it and contacted Diesel Power Source. Spoke to Brett by phone and through email. He sent me a new housing and no issues. The new housing went on about 2 months ago and it is doing great.Hope this helps.

Yes it does help I also pull a 18ft bay boat and soon to be pulling a 34ft 5th wheel travel trailer. Did you have to buy a hx-40 down pipe with this turbo? and does this thing whistle pretty loud on the outside? As of right now I am in a toss up between this turbo or a s300 or s400 so i can run a custom twin set up with my hx-35.

Cummins smoke,

Yes sir, had to get a 4 inch down pipe. I have attached the picture, you can see at the edge of the photo the silver band. That is the band that attaches the down pipe.

I have had a d-tech for about a year and a half now and have put over 48,000 on it and half of those miles is towing 12,000 pound and have never had a problem. However i do believe i need more fuel i am only able to get it up to about 25psi and i believe the gate is set at 35psi but even at 25psi i have never seen egts above 1050 and it still does everything i ask.
