Default I need some help.

So today I went out and bought a smarty for my 2001 cummins. I love the level 9 setting but with a stock tranny I know its not going to last is there some cheaper way but still keeping the tranny very strong so it will last?

Also are dodge trannys hard to rebuild by yourself?

in short answer no, you get what you pay for when it comes to tranny parts. And no, i would not reccomend rebuilding a newer dodge auto like your 01 has without experience or training.

best bet, contact a tranny chop locally or even hit up suncoast online
