My 01 cummins is throwing code p1693 any help on what the code means would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

It's a companion code, meaning there is another code.

How does your truck start/run??

The P 1693, means that there is another code stored in either the ECM or PCM. You may need a code scanner to read and clear the code.

Thanks guys. The truck starts and runs great. I was just worried because im going to be putting some goodeys in the motor here soon.
