New exhaust?

New exhaust?
So my exhaust from my muffler back just fell off and was hanging there when I got off work today. I peaked under the truck and sure enough it was rusted away. So time to get a new exhaust.
I have the truck in my sig and what I wanted to know was what I should get. I want to cut out the cat and muffler but I don't know if I want to run it straight back or run it the way the stock exhaust was. A buddy of mine ran dual straights out the back of his chevy 2500 (gas) and he said he hated it. It was waay to load for him. I understand diesels are different sounding and I don't mind some truck noise but I don't want it over bearing. I'm not sure about runing duals either. 4" or 5"?
Anyone out there that can help me decide or have some imput? Thanks!

MBPR Installer series, with muffler, SINGLE 4" or 5". If you had a V engine with 2 turbos, maybe duals then, otherwise I think it looks dumb, and is impractical. But I like a clean, simple look. I painted my exhaust with BBQ paint before installing, and did a little touch up afterwards as well. The paint is lasting extremely well, and isn't flashy at all. Nice and sleak.

Thanks guys! I think I'm going to run 5" and have it dump out the side where it was. I can't quite commit to running straight back and duals doesn't really strike my fancy. I could run duals out the sides but I can do that later if I want to add another. Thanks for the suggestions!
