Default Injector swap, now hard start

Just installed some SDX 100 hp injectors, from Brice at BBD, excellent prices and service, this weekend. First time doing this type of work but all went well. But now i have to crank my truck over a few times for it to start It runs great once started. Then when i shut it off my FASS makes a hissing sound for about 30 secs then quiets... Any help would be apprieciated! and Thanks BBD

U may have a leak in the lines. Or a leak past the cross over tubes past the o ring.

Might want to keep an eye on your oil level, just to be sure. An o-ring may have gotten nicked.

Like engine oil level? and i was checkin it out this morning, and its not the fass making noise is my diesel cap, its sucking in air. While it was running i opened it and it sucked alot of air in really fast, and them a white grayish smoke/fog came out of the neck!? WTF is that???

Diesel vapor, I'd be replacing that cap ASAP. It may be the cause of your problem, but have nothing to do with your new injectors.
Do you have a draw straw? How does your return fuel from the FASS get back to the tank?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

Someone else said a loose injector hold down... is that possible?

Like engine oil level?
Yes, engine oil level. If fuel is leaking from the injectors to the crankcase, the oil level will increase.

So it may just be a coincidence? And im not sure the fass was put on by the previous owner... how can i check
It could be a coincidence for sure. Start with the simple stuff and see what happens.
If I understand correctly, you didn't install the FASS, and you not too sure the previous owner did either? I can almost guarantee you the dealership didn't.

Someone else said a loose injector hold down... is that possible?
If a hold down clamp was loose enough, fuel could pass by the oring on the injector. On the same token, so would compression gas and you would have high blow by.
