Default Need some advice

So i recently bought a 99 Dodge Ram 2500 24v. I want to get something like 100hp injectors. What other upgrades will i need to do to be able to run this size injectors? Will my stock vp44 handle it? What upgrades will i need to do to my turbo? And what lift pump would you suggest? Thanks

#1 is gauges, you need Pyro and Fuel Pressure for sure, with out a doubt! You need to know what your truck is doing before you start laying the a$$ to her!
I also have the same truck as you. I would suggest getting a tuner for now. Heck with the injectors. GO grab yourself a AirDogg lift pump and an Quadzilla Adrenaline with Pulse. The Pulse gives you ALL the gauges you need!! They even have a fuel pressure add on!
You will CRAP yourself when you drive it on stage 10. You wont need bigger injectors first. Just get a tuner for now... When you get bored with that THEN get a turbo and injectors!
(If you get a Quad ADR with Pulse then you will get Pyro gauge with it and it will feed back a lot of other sensors.

I wouldnt jump in on injectors first. You need a quality lift pump first... Not only to support the mods you want to do BUT because the stock stuff is garbage! They FAIL out of nowhere and when they do you can kiss your 1800$ injection pump goodbye!! There have been FOUR lift pumps on my truck that I KNOW of! Stock, a replaced stock, 2 holley black POS lift pumps, one of which I put on after the one the prior owner put on left me stranded!! Then finally my AirDog 150!!
After that i STILL wouldnt get injectors. They add some fuel of coarse BUT they dont just GIVE you 125hp. They can SUPPORT 125 more horses. Its a flow rating thing! Soooo get a GOOD tuner. Maybe one that monitors gauges too like a Quadzilla Adrenaline w/Pulse or Edge Attitude w/ Juice.
You will CRAP YOUR PANTS when you see what timing AND fuel can do to your truck.. Then STUD it. Download some NASTY tunes and hold on to your pants! When you get bored with that THEN add injectors and compound turbos!

I would go for a max of 75 hp injectors on a hx 35. your stock vp will handle tons more power. I say get a set of gauges a drag comp and have fun. your trans will be the next issue or clutch depending on what ya have

I have seen a kit to convert the stock hx35 turbo to a hx40 hybrid turbo. It has a different housing and a different turbine. Anyone know anything about it?

My buddy Monster12Valve has that... He says he doesnt really like it. I heard it spools slower. I cant honestly say though. The hx35 will push you to 30psi safley unstudded.

I've got RV275s in mine,it works fine, still have the boost elbow in my wastegate hose,so it makes 32psi of boost,no computer and never gets hot,you won't NEED anything to run the 100s,but you should buy some gauges.

If you aren't pulling heavy I would not think you'd need a turbo upgrade, but I don't know for sure.
