Knock on wood but the Quad didnt kill trans yet. It did kill my head gasket though.

Caylebk... Once you get a proper lift pump then go download and instal the series 2000 beta tunes from ADRs site! Id tell you to try the 3000 but they will break your un-studded truck!! When you DO get studs then download the 3k tunes. Youll poop your pants so wear a diaper!!!
Making 13 stages doesnt make any MORE power. Just more variable to MAX power (that being 13 now rather then 10).

BE CAREFUL with what you tinker with that fass ddrp cant provide enough fuel and SOME things you can do with a Pulse on that ADR can destroy your truck (fuel and timing tinkering)

to be honest the 3000 tunes pull hard but its not like their gunna kill the truck right off the bat.. ive ran em for the past 3 months on a stock motor no studs with a stock relocted lift pump and havent had a problem just keep the boost below 35 ish psi and you should be fine

Not to sound like a dick but why would you tell him go go ahead and do that? Do you know what the drive pressure is to make 35psi on a stock turbo. Its pretty epic. He should play it safe unless he wants to shell out a truck load of money down the road. You should do the same! 400$ head studs are WORTH it when your plowing air through that turbo like that! My stock bolts didnt stretch out by magic! Better safe then sorry on a 3,000-5,000$ motor!

well i put it back to stock tunes from the tune my friend made and it seems to run a lot better and the most trans slip i see is 1% and it usally only hits that for a few seconds other than that it stays at 0 but i still dont want to fry the tranny

im not callin you out here but youve stated before that when you blew your h/g you were runnin a turbo with a PLUGGED waist gate.. i understand your just tryin to play it safe but puttin 40+ psi through a stock motor is gunna hurt something... i was givin the kid my .02 from experience take it for what its worth.. who knows maybe im just gettin lucky with mine but this truck has had a fuel box of some kind on it since 05 pushin 30+ psi no problems yet.

Totally true that 30s will be ok but in another thread he was asking how to kill his wastegate... you know where that leads. High boost! He also doesnt have his good LP yet and thats SUUUUPER important. He is still running that DDRP

yeah atleast delete the DDRP.. granted im stilll runnin a carter HP pump but ive got it frame mounted with a gravity feed outta the bottom of the tank.. it keeps up and is way cheaper than the $550 that airdog wants for a lift pump
