Turbo Upgrade
I've heard very good things about the bd super b single. I'm a big fan of bd, I have the super b special on my 01 and love it. But... I would never recommend it to anybody that tows a lot. I would say go with the regular super b in my opinion. If I could go back and buy a turbo over again I think that's what I would have bought over my special. The truck hauls a** but a 64 sucks to tow with. Otherwise its killer. Stay with a 62 or smaller for a daily driver/ tow rig. Unless of course it gets compounded!

I'm curious to why mine runs so hot then. Prob being that I run a bigger injector for spool time. I'd be curious to drive your truck and compare man. Thank god my trans is still holding... I baby it tho. Other than the now and then light to light or highway overdrive romp. Mine tows hot for the most part when I'm underspooled obviously, if I turn overdrive off and slow it down but run higher rpm it runs in the 900's up any hill. But otherwise I can hit 1600 towing very easily.

The only true drop-in is an HX35/40 hybrid. it is only a mild upgrade. if you plan to push over 400hp, an S300 variant or compounds is needed.

I second that. My 35's broke loose on me one day when I punched it at 70mph on the interstate. Dry pavement too. I had to check my pants. Wonder what my options are for compounds using the super b special... Anyone??
